''Why do you care so much about high school?'' Daniel asked frustrated with her.
''because high school is the only place I have ever mattered. I'm never goanna go anywhere I'm not a strait A student my parents hate me. Oh fuck who am I kidding everyone hates me.'' Jane yelled back at him.
''Well at least you have parents; you can get straight A's if you try. You try so hard to make people love you that you don't realize they don't care about you at all. One day love will stair you in your face and you won't even know what the fuck it is because you never experienced it at least I will know what it feels like.'' He yelled back feeling anger rise inside him.
''why do you care so much what goes on in my head and in my heart if I'm not allowed to even know what you middle name is it's like I'm allowed to tell you everything but when it comes to you, you just fucking  push me away.'' She said back staring at him.
He stood there not knowing what to say back to her.
''you're a hypocrite!'' she yelled

Disastrously, of all the other things he can pick, Max sets his eyes on the most forbidden and despised thing in Royal Heights. Me. Even though the whole school hates that idea. But pushing Max away is like trying to tame a wild lion that has just been released from its cage. Max is unstoppable. My mother once said that if a guy is really into you, he will pursue you no matter what. I think I know now how it feels. I just don't know how to handle my heart. For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it. Love. Love is such a strong word. Love is something you feel for someone you truly care about. Right? So is love ever possible to feel for someone that you hated so much for so long? Mikayla is a junior at Bristol High School in Bristol, Tennesee. She's sixteen, 5'4, plays softball and volleyball, and has a great and positive personality. However, her family has a lot of issues. However, she has competition. Daniel is Mikayla's competition. He plays quarterback on their school's football team. Typical, right? Well, Mikayla and Daniel have competed against each other for years. Daniel likes to push Mikayla down and make her feel like he's superior and better. Daniel is six-foot-something and handsome. He could pull any girl he wanted, however, he remains single. Is it his terrible personality? Or does he like being single? This story is about teenage love and the problems that you can encounter in high school. Mikayla and Daniel, head to-head, all the time. However, who will win overall? Who will be the bigger person and try to drop all of their immaturity and stupidity? TW and MATURITY WARNING: Drug use, SH, reference to sex, strong language throughout the story, depression, and family trauma.
