Georgina Mowe has always been a strange child. That's at least what's been said about her. But she didn't deny it. She knew people avoided being within five feet of her for a reason. But there was nothing truly wrong with her. She just felt more attached to music and lyrics than actual people. When she was six she decided she'd had it with trying to get the boys she developed crushes on to like her. So that day she went to her room and got every single musical thing she could and then put a ring with a music note on her finger, declaring herself Mrs. Music. She didn't need boys. She had music. Seventeen years old, she still wears that same ring, and still only finds friendship with her iPod and her pets. But when Noah moves into town with his leather jacket and guitar, he catches her singing all alone in the auditorium and from then on he pushes the walls and the boundaries Georgina had let into her life, lighting her world in a different way. Maybe Georgie has finally met her Mr. Music? ~*~ Open up a new tab on YouTube because wattpad won't let me put any music on the side. Prepare yourself for a world of music.

She knew he'd been in love before. Not just once, not just in passing. Real, deep, messy love. And maybe that should've been her sign to keep her distance. To not let herself feel too much. But instead, it made her pause. Because the way he talked about them-the girls before her- it wasn't bitter. It wasn't dramatic. It was quiet. Thoughtful. Almost gentle. He remembered birthdays, late-night calls, stupid little details no one else would hold on to. He loved them well. Or at least, he tried. And that's what messed her up. Because it made her want to fall even harder. And at the same time, it made her want to run. She wasn't afraid of his past. She was afraid that someone like him-someone who had already given so much-might not have anything left for her. Or worse, that he would love her the same way. And she'd fall for it, just like they did. And end up as another name he says gently, years, from now.
