What happens in Panacea when you die? You get trapped. Skylark Reynolds is just your average teenage girl about to graduate high school when she begins to question everything she's ever known. She knows about the Captis, the trapped souls in her hometown. Sky lives in future Philadelphia, Pennsylvania- after a war devastated the land the people were forced to scavenge and establish a new, more perfect community now known as Panacea. Now there are rules and regulations on everything, but she's about to break them all. 
             Follow Sky as she goes on a daring journey between life and death. Living under an oppressive, and often times , confusing government, Sky and her trusty companions race to find the truth before time runs out.
