an ordinary day at school took a huge turn for this particular student who couldn't really care less about paying attention. while trying to get her life back to the way it was time had different plans ahead, would she fall into the darkness or make her own decisions making her the enemy of two sides of one story.

Ella was not a special girl - not to her, not to anyone, least of all her sister. Her life wasn't boring, but it wasn't particularly eventful, she told herself. After all, she was homeschooled her whole life, by her neglectant older sister, so her knowledge of the world was limited. However, by means of a so called mix-up she knows nothing about, she ends up in an all boy's school, where something is lurking under the surface of the seemingly innocent campus.

Because what is a throne without an heir, and a crown without its king. So here I am, stuck in a game of blood and betrayal where the only way to survive is to stop being the fragile girl they thought I was. If I have to burn bridges, spill blood, and embrace the monster inside me, then so be it. Because this time, I'm not running from my darkness. I'm becoming it.
