The M Word

East Bay Arts has (almost) successfully produced yet another play. This year, there was only one drama class, one disastrous cast of remarkable students. Superstitions are just that until premiere night. When the doors open, and the house lights dim; drowned out by the applause... Alex hears it.

Macbeth.

There's no time to break the curse for the actors had already taken their place on stage. There's no way to tell who said it seeing as every seat in the house was filled and silent.
Alex doesn't breathe a word of this, she just lets the show go on until the curtain shuts.
