The time has finally arrived, where the earth has reached its limit. Food, water, and land, all luxuries we've taken for granted, have been slowly looming down on us as a possible issue of the future. But that was just it. An issue of the future. So we ran and ran until we were backed right into a corner. The future has now become the present, and we can no longer run. So how does humanity respond, when it's very existence is threatened? Does it respond with words? With ideas and theories? But what if that doesn't work? Does it respond by blade? How will humanity take on its biggest enemy yet... itself.

The inhabitants of Earth have embarked on a mission to a strange new planet that they hope will provide a suitable place for humans to call home. A small group of humans are sent ahead of the main force to determine if the planet is suitable to their needs. Join the humans on an adventure of a life time as they explore a whole new world and learn about the people who call that planet home. Will the inhabitants of the planet survive if Earth invades? Can humans learn to live in harmony with the strange creatures that call the Otherworld home? I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Yea, that is a shitty idea, but once again, no one cares what I think.

Every three years a group of two-hundred teens get sent to Earth. After spending two years on Earth, you can choose to go back onto the Ark or to stay on Earth. Most don't survive the first week. They get to either join a Clan, create a new Clan or go solo. If your name is called out, you have to go down. You have no choice. Almost everyone joins a Clan or makes a new Clan. Nobody goes solo, unless you absolutely have to. Or if no Clan accepts you. Every animal on Earth wants to kill humans, they have all mutated after the Nuclear War, all the ones that survived, and are out for human flesh and blood. Bastien Water's name gets called out during the Choosing and he has to try to survive on Earth. While his family grieves thinking that Bastien won't survive but he's out to prove them wrong.
