"Lucian" He smirked at the sound of his name that was merely whispered through my lips.

"N-no..H-how did you find-d me? " I struggled to breathe and tried not to hyperventilate. 

He seemed to smirk even wider, no doubt by witnessing my shock and disoriented state. His hands then languidly moved upward, lining my shoulders and neck until my face was cradled in his palms. His thumbs caressing my cheeks in a gentle yet firm manner, evoking a tingling sensation. I had wanted to pushed those hands away but my shock immobilized me to do so.
