Fourteen year old Sarah Cavens is no ordinary girl. After her father leaves for war, she discovers things about herself that she never knew. She has magical powers. One day she wakes up in a forest, not knowing where she is or how to get back to her mother, Jane. Jane begins a search for her daughter, finding a forest and discovers creatures that she never knew existed. Together, they try to find her daughter. Sarah has to run from the elf king who desires her power. Will she harness her new powers and save the forest from the elf king? Or will she be captured and forever the one who failed?
