If your were only twelve years old, and you could be sent to your death and be played as a pawn in a game in the hands of the gamemakers, how would you feel? Add on top of that that your sister decides to go in for you, and that you now have to watch her in a deadly arena for weeks on end.
Hiding Behind Blue Eyes describes just that. It's my version of the Hunger Games, but from Prim's POV. Hiding Behind Blue Eyes goes into depth of how this small blond-haired, blue-eyed girl feels while watching her sister fight to the death on TV, and also it goes a bit into how their widowed mother feels as well. The story will have unexpected twists mixed into as well. I write what pleases my brain.

"Ahhh!!!" The man's body falls to the floor limp and I fall to the floor out of terror, "Why are you screaming? I saved you from being raped." I look at the man who is holding a gun with a little smile on his face. He holds the gun up to my head and I start crying, "P-Please, p-please don't do this. I-I won't tell anybody." He bends down and I whimper, "I don't think I can let you go. What happened you run and tell in the next three days? You've already seen my face and heard my voice." I shake my head, "I swear I won't tell anybody! I-I don't know anybody!" He looks at me up and down, "I'll give you two choices. I kill you now or you come with me. You can keep me entertained for a while." €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€ Lyric Dime is a twenty-one year old loner who works in a top tier casino.
