Skylar, a young girl living in our world travels through a magical tunnel to place called Adliest.  There she searches for her parents, who went missing in the strange, magical land.  On her journeys she becomes friends with a scavenger named Cliff.  Together they search for a key to a mysterious case, left behind by Skylar's parents.  But trouble is brewing in Adliest, with Skylar's parents gone bandit clans attack villages randomly.  How can Skylar find her parents and help the world her family is sworn to protect?
