Alexander Russell is a bad boy, forced by his parents to attend a prestigious prep school, Winderswood Academy. He becomes drawn to a mysterious girl, Willow Ashford, and wants to discover the secrets behind the pain and sadness in her eyes. As he gets deeper and deeper into her world, Alexander begins to wonder what is really true, and discovers a whole new realm he never knew existed before. Will Alexander be able to help Willow, will he just get in her way or will he become something greater then they ever imagined.

Willow Ashford is a demon hunter. Born into one of the most powerful hunter lines, she has trained to fight and kill demons since she was four years old. She made her first demon kill when she was 13 years old and is The Order's top teen hunter. Despite her hatred for demons, she feels sorrow and guilt for the kills, knowing that before the demon possession, they were once human. She is drawn to the new boy Alexander Russell and slowly finds herself falling for him, conflicted by her sense of duty and her forbidden feelings. As she pulls Alex into her world, she finds herself falling more and more for him and soon realizes there is more to him then she thought.
