Imagine yourself in the TV show Sherlock Holmes. You live in the flat just below Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. It has been many years since you last saw the consulting detective, seeing as you were just kids when he moved away. But now, you are disappointed find that he doesn't remember you. It becomes your goal to make him remember and in the process you find that you have fallen in love with him. Will he love you back, though? That question haunts you every day when you show up at his door to help him solve cases. The game in on! (I do not own any of the Sherlock characters!)

Sherlock Holmes goes into battle with Moriarty, his greatest adversary. Naturally, Anita O'Malley and John Watson are there to assist him on this battle. Sherlock and Anita are, finally, dating and the world couldn't seem more perfect. But could one single phone call ruin it completely? ♪ First Names are for Lovers ♪ Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, living in a dated, shared flat with bullet holes in the wall, a skull on the mantle, and an absolutely catastrophic kitchen. It wasn't hard to get along, usually. John could handle Sherlock's bluntness and absolute disregard - or lack of knowledge - for people's feelings or sentiment. And Sherlock could handle John's questions about everything he said. John Watson: An army doctor, stationed in Afghanistan, shot in the leg, put out of commission. Psychosomatic limp; magically gone when he went on a case with Sherlock. Sherlock Holmes: High-functioning sociopath, and the only Consulting Detective in the world. He could read people, he could see crimes in the crime-scene; he could win. ♫ ♫ ♫ Sherlock Holmes went off the rails. He did an experiment that got him hospitalized after John found him on the scene. Lines were crossed. Rules were made. Everything was on the line - concentration on cases slowly dwindled, priorities were mixed, and absolutely everything was spinning. ♫ ♫ ♫ Good habits, bad habits, and everything in between. You have good habits, sure, and they have to be balanced out with bad habits. For most people, that's taking your vitamins every day crossed with cracking your knuckles. For Sherlock Holmes that was catching criminals and putting his life at serious risk every time. ♫ ♫ ♫

"Did somebody call for a medic?" She was John's best friend, a bubbly energetic and slightly sarcastic combat medic who had a taste for adventure and Sherlock Holmes was absolutely in awe...

TRIGGER WARNINGS: surgery, depression, drug use John and Sherlock start to drift away from each other as Rosie grows older and John grows more protective. After one too many incidents, Sherlock ends up in the hospital and John makes him swear to leave Rosie alone, thinking that she gets her deductive skills from him. He struggles to rebuild his relationship with his daughter and discovers how much Sherlock means to her. Meanwhile, Sherlock is alone on the streets again and realizing just how deep his love for them ran. This is intended to be a novel-length work. John-Sherlock interactions will be platonic or emotionally intimate, as both Sherlock and I are asexual and I don't wanna write that kind of thing. I'm co-writing with my best friend!

So here's the deal: I love these books as much as the next fangirl, and I keep on getting Sherlock ideas, so here I am! Writing a Sherlock one shot/imagine/preference book! It's what the title says it is, obviously!
