Short story told in poems, about a girl that got bullied. She never stood up for herself or did anything so they would leave her alone, because her parents taught her to remain silent. She's the one to listen, because 'she deserves everything'.

Her step-brother uses any excuse to hit and punish her and her stepmother is too oblivious to actually help her. She was broken and beaten....and then she met him. It made him forget about what his medication was really for that he takes every night.
