Abbie wanted something to make her feel alive and Harry did exactly that. There chance meeting in a club lead them to believe in fate. Abbie gets warned that Harry is bad news but this only makes her more attracted to him. His overprotective nature teaches Abbie that she is safe but for outsiders it seems intense and controlling.
