Annalie Fairchild and Alec Lightwood are Parabatai and they fall in love, even though it is forbidden for Parabatai to be in love. FYI: I am Clary's twin sister. We were separated at two. I was taken in by the Lightwoods at the same time as Jace. We both were ten years old. Alec and I become best friends and then Parabatai. On Clary's and my 18th birthday, we both wonder if we'll ever see each other again. Soon later, Clary joins me in the Shadow World with her best friend, Simon, and our little brother Thomas.
