Normality is impossible, but from a very young age, that's all Quinn wanted. To be fit in, to have friends, to be known, but like normality, it was unachievable. He always felt and thought differently. Why couldn't he at least try makeup without being scolded because it was 'only for girls'? Why couldn't he wear a skirt or dress just because be felt like it? No one felt the same as him. No guy wanted to wear a dress, and girls didn't want to be a little different for at least one day. No one understood. Especially his parents. His mother gave birth to a boy. A beautiful baby boy. She did not want someone who was, in her words, confused. So she quickly kicked him out of her life. And it's been 5 years since.

Newt has always been scared of falling in love. In Fact he was anti love his whole life. He had a hard time saying 'I love you' to anyone. Even his own family- and he had no idea why. Maybe it was the lack of love shown in his family? Who knows. That was until he fell in love. He fell in love with a boy. He fell in love with someone he had just met. And my god, Newt was petrified by the whole idea. Back in South London he lived with his mother, father, and younger sister Sonya. Ofcourse, That was until his parents got a divorce. Newt and Sonya were sick of living in London, so they moved in with their Grandparents who lived in a small town in Colorado. It was their cheapest option overall. Over the summer Newt decided to get a job at a Café and one day a boy named Thomas comes in with his group of friends and becomes regulars- and becomes friends over the last month of the summer. Since it's a small town, they end up going to the same school. And that, Newt's regular customer Thomas was the one he fell in love with.
