Bad Timing
"How could you do this to me?! I trusted you! You arrogant, selfish, asshole!!" I shouted with teary eyes and sadness in my voice. I looked at his face and was covered with nothing else but anger. He grabbed my shoulders and pulled me roughly against his body. That's when he crushed his lips to mine. His kiss was urgent, claiming, rough. His lips claimed mine with anger as he was like punishing me for what I said. No! That's when I snapped. I pushed him away and started hitting him in his hard chest. He leaned his forehead against mine still holding me tight like he's was afraid of letting me go. He let out a breath and signed. "I couldn't.. I..just..did" he blurted out without looking me in the eyes with pain in his voice the heartbreaking, unforgiven truth. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Angel is the definition of the 'girl-next-door'. Everything comes up side down when a bad event occurred in her family. She tries to forget by starting her last year of high school at a new one. Kyle is a player. He never leaves a challenge unaccepted. He is the guy who puts his friends first unconditionally. All started with a bet but nothing went as planned only the termination. Will everything turn worse or will there be something that will change everything? ~~~~~~~Concluida
Astrid
Carter slowly walked towards me, butterflies swarming in my stomach, filling every inch of me. "Assi." he grabbed my wrists, and made me look at him. "Who was that song about?" "You know who." "Was it... about me?" "What would you say if it was?" I cocked my head to the side, our eyes staying connected with each other. "I wouldn't say." he moved closer to me, towering over by the slightest bit as his breath surrounded my every nerve. He leant down, took a sharp breath and connected our lips. - Astrid was a beautiful girl, who had lost her sense of who she was and where she belonged. She went through something traumatic at only 14, but no one noticed. She moved to Roseville for a fresh start with her best friend Kaitlyn by her side. But Carter notices. He was a "bad boy" with a heart of gold (ik it's cliché) . He never let anything slip by him. He doesn't say anything as their personalities clash and they hate each other. You know what they say, there is a thin line between love and hate. Will these two step over the line? But sometimes, running away from your problems doesn't go down unnoticed. The very person Astrid ran away from is after her, and this time, the consequences will be worse. -- This is an enemies-friends-lovers book and they become friends early on because I find it difficult to write going from enemies to lovers so yeah. *unedited book* #1 in talent show (29/02/24)Concluida

My Girl
Cal Jackson's new life as a rockstar fails to account for one thing: the existence of the girl he loves. ***** "What are you thinking about?" she asks. "A song," I say. "A new song." I stare at the ocean as I sing the song that I wrote, something that comes from the darkest place of my heart. "Do you even know how gifted you are?" she whispers. "You're destined to be someone big, Cal." "Really?" "Yeah." ***** She's perfect in every way. Beautiful. Smart. Her bright future is right there in front of her eyes. While here I am. Ruined. No college, let alone a future. Just an image of a wannabe rockstar with tattoed arms and an old guitar. I knew that our story would be no less than that tragic Romeo and Juliet shit the moment I laid my eyes on her, but still, I can't resist her. The moment she whispers my name, "Cal," I lose all sanity. She becomes my melody, my lyrics, the song that keeps echoing in my ears. People call her Mia. I call her my Amy, her name crafted above my beating heart, tattoed on my skin. Amelia Davis is my girl. Mine. And only mine. ***** THE JACKSONS BOOK #1 © 2021 Anya Jayvyn. All Rights Reserved.
