ある夏の日ー アルファ・ケインは、憂鬱そうな顔を窓辺に寄りかからせ、黄昏にふけっていた。かれこれ、これで何年こんな風に黄昏にふけっているのか、３年は経過しただろうか。 薄緑色の空と大地が描くスカイラインを眺め、そのいびつな境界線を添うようにして、恒星が沈む方向へと目線をやった。 静かな1日だった。まるで、何かの始まりを告げるかのような、そんな静けさだった。 この町は漣という。漣には学校が2個しかなく、貧しさのあまり卒業しても碌に企業国家に所属できずにアウトローとなる者が多かった。 この世界には、企業国家、いわゆるコーポラタムパブリカなる存在が世界秩序の中央にあるとされている。大昔、この惑星にやってきた人類、ホモサピエンスサピエンスは、前惑星で、宗教や資本といった言葉で表される考えにより、様々な文化 を発展させてきたと聞く。 僕は何も知っているわけではないが、今の世界を見ているとそれがどんなものだったのか、なんとなくわかる。大人たちがつぶやいているザムルトだとかテックなんとかだとか、おそらくはそういう概念に当たるものなのだろう。 もうそろそろ19になるが、僕には恋人がいる。Complete
