In an alternate version of Victorian England, Queen Charlotte rules over the British empire, and is known for her kindness and intellect. Though she has much opposition, when it comes to her position of power. Not many agree with the idea of a female ruler, and thus while she is loved by many, she is hated by more. Another problem is the nation France, a longtime enemy of her country, which is building up its armies after a feud with the English monarchy. This is the story of Charlotte, with the help of her two guards, Bardolf Ward and Ernest Hughes, tries to win over her kingdom, and bring glory and peace to her nation.
