This is a short piece about two Game of Thrones characters, Jon Snow and Ygritte. George RR Martin touches on his thoughts about her death and I felt it didn't give justice to the impact she had on his life so this is for any Game of Thrones fans

"Were there ever two people more meant for each other?" Daenerys Targaryen, and Jon Snow are sailing north to fight the Army of the Dead. The closer they get, the more complicated their alliance becomes. 🚧UNDER HEAVY EDITING🚧 Riva Targaryen is Rhagar Targaryen's twin sister. Viserys always envied his older sister and looked down at her just the way Aerys did. Rhagar spent his years trying his best to protect Riva from the wrath of their father but after he left for his love, Lyanna, Aerys treated Riva with disrespect you wouldn't even show your worst enemy. It was because he was scared of her and her power. Riva is a charming young lady with the support of almost everyone, she is also a fighter and caught Jaime's eye from the beginning he stepped foot into Kingslanding. From there, love spawned between the lion and dragon which gave Riva more power. So, as a reaction, Aerys banished her to Bravos. She spent years on end worshipping the Many Faced God and became a faceless assassin and eventually returned to Westeros to get revenge on her father, but Jaime already completed her task. So now, Riva is trying to survive the harsh conditions of Westeros but at least Jaime Lannister and his love for her is still there...that is if they still remember each other. Jon Snow dies whilst killing the Night King leaving Daenerys and their unborn child without him. Picks up five years after the battle for the dawn, No-one struggles to control his emotion and keep away from the people he loved most. Daenerys tries to cope without Jon in her and their daughter's life. Someone has given a name to the Many faced gods forcing No-one to go home and face his family, whilst trying to forget his old life and the person he used to be. Jon Snow. In a time of crisis, the Dragonborn rises to fulfill the needs of fate. Aisling Snow-Blood was that chosen hero, and she served to the fullest. However, a deeper turmoil is rooted in the lives of her children, Sofie and Hroar, as they try to navigate the reality of her legacy in the wake of her passing. A story about growing up, and grief. This story is slow to start, I'll admit that, but the meat of the story is far faster if you give it a chance. I've been working on this since February of 2023, and I've put a lot of heart and soul into this story and these characters. All reads, comments, and saves mean the world to me.
