Perception A Tom Marvolo Riddle Fanfiction completed

22 parts Complete

He had achieved almost everything he had wanted. He had power and he was immortal. And yet, there were a few things he hadn't achieved. He had not been able to get rid of his fear of defeat. And he had not been able to forget what had happened that fateful night fifteen years ago. If you asked him whether he has rued what happened that night, he would tell you that there's no room for repentance or contrition where there's not even a conscience. Yet he would tell you that although he felt no remorse that did not mean he did not regret. Sometimes you only know what you've had when you lose it. Sometimes it needs loss to inspire perception. Sometimes you need a second chance. And sometimes you get it. ********** This is the sequel to my story "Poison", and I guess it's necessary to have read "Poison" for "Perception" to make sense, so please feel invited to read "Poison" first if you haven't done so yet ;-)
