I nervously took the mic into my trembling hands- which I had no idea to why it was trembling. I had done a few speeches, including the valedictorian speech in front of a much larger audience- and then it struck me. The trembling was not out of fear of the audience. But the fear of myself.

Sometimes in my dreams I see her.. stunning a white dress with her hair tied up in an elegant bun, I take her hand and help her go down with me to exchange the marriage vows and not just our hearts but our last names become one.. We dance as our laughter fill the place under the sun, She says yes to me announcing to the entire world that out of everyone I was her choice.. We promise each other to stay together through the sorrows before joys She then whispers to my ear with some words that I fail to hear because of all the noise, but the feeling of her breath alone makes me fail to keep my poise.. And when everyone gets back to their lives after gathering to rejoice with us.. I get her to be all mine.. as this thought floods my mind, I cross all the lines.. When we finally get to once again intertwine. It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. I took a tiny step back but the grip didn't loosen. I decided to look up and meet the eyes of who those warm and comforting hands belonged to. I was met with the deepest blue eyes I have ever seen in my life. He was much taller than me and had the silkiest looking brown, almost black colored hair. That made me want to run my fingers through it. He was absolutely beautiful. There was something about his eyes that made them so captivating.
