Aaliyah Williams is just a normal girl in the 50’s. She tries to get good grades, respect her elders and make the right decisions. But being a black is not easy, especially in the 50’s. Aaliyah is bold and confident, not afraid to speak her mind about anything. She’s bubbly and outgoing. Aaliyah lights up the room and everyone seems to enjoy having her around. She’s generous and kind. Aaliyah never backs down from what she believes in and she won't give up on anything she strongly believes in. Jace Evans was born into a wealthy family. He’s a sweet-talker, flirty and carefree. Jace lives his life with no regrets and basically living the life of a rebel. Jace breaks the rules and doesn't care. Everyone knows he has no regrets and lives in the moment.. When he meets Aaliyah he’s delighted by her personality and wants to know more. When the two cross paths, what will happen? Will a friendship spark between the two? How will society react? When black and white meet what will happen? Will there be friendship between them? Or will it be burnt away. Being inter-racial friends is not easy, but they are going to learn that it is even harder when you are living in the 1950’s.
