Queens opens their doors for her and it pays off two years later when she becomes the "King of Queens" 👑. After building her empire, Brookie, as she came to be called, is pretty confident of what she calls her "Queens Empire." But when the prices of papes go up, Brookie is forced to work in close proximity with people who could use her real identity to bring down the "Queens Empire." Will her identity be protected or will it all come tumbling out like the hair in her cap? And what happens if she starts feeling herself going soft for someone she could never be with? Said Italian blonde boy was actually a half Brooklyn, half Manhattan Newsie, as he sold in Brooklyn. Sure, Spot scared him sometimes, but not a lot. They were very different. Spot had brown hair, Race had dirty blonde. Race had been to the Refuge, Spot hadn't. Spot had brown eyes, Race had bright blue eyes. Race was strong, but easily outnumbered, Spot was strong, but wasn't easily outnumbered. One think they both agreed was that they cared for their boys more than anything and would do anything to keep them safe. Oh, that and that the other was cute.
