Love of fate

Amor fati (Latin. "love of fate")//describe an attitude in which one sees everything that happens in one's life, including suffering and loss, as good or, at the very least, necessary, in that they are among the facts of one's life and existence.

All it takes is one moment, one glance and one boy that will change the course of Violet's life. Violet is not living but merely existing, living in a perpetual darkness where she has no control over. She is a by product of her father's affair that caused her to be exiled from her father's lavish world at the age of two. However, at the age of eighteen she receives a letter from her father allowing her back into his world of wealth to find a suitor. From a simple, normal life with her mother she's thrusted into a world she's grown up despising. Fate allowed her to reconcile with her father but also brought her new friendships, sadness, heartbreak, love, happiness and guilt. This isn't only a book about love but a book about the love of fate and the joy and grief it brings.
