Jughead Jones the Third was a secluded soul. His fallout with his lifelong friends left him to care for himself and his family- or what was left of it. Of course, there were exceptions to his own made up rules.

1. Take care of yourself;
2. Try to fix your broken family;
3. Find some place to truly call home;
4. Make sure nothing stops you from doing what you believe in;
5. Stay away from those people;
6. Write, now and always.

The six rules he swore by. He planned to follow them however, unlikely circumstances threw him back into the old group of friends and the waters are stormy. Speaking to Archie is a chore in itself and snarky remarks are bitten back. The feisty raven haired girl Veronica is someone he doesn't want to come near, Kevin he can barely stand anymore, and Betty... Well, she suddenly became an exception, rules be damned.
The one issue is that despite the fallouts, the arguments, the broken hearts, and multiple times that Betty has been stood up, she keeps pining over the ginger she can never be with, a relationship destined for doom.

"What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Juggie. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I love it when you call me Juggie. It's hot" I said and she continued to glare at me in silence. "I didn't know what I wanted before. I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Betty moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Cheryl stuck by Betty. Betty survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making Veronica her sister and best friend. Jughead was broken when Betty left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Betty and Veronica move to Riverdale with their mothers. Jughead and Archie are shocked to see Betty again. One of them view her as a challenge, the other as prey. Betty has other ideas though. Language warning and maybe some violence and dark material.

Everyone gives her a hard time especially Jughead Jones. Everyone thinks she is ' the perfect girl' but in reality she is hurting on the inside because her parents abuse her when she does nothing wrong. She never told anyone about her situation except Kevin but when Betty haves to tutor Jughead how will she handle this? Jughead Jones is the captain of the football team. He is the most popular person in the school but at home he feels alone. His mom took off with his little sister when he was 5 years old and his dad started drinking when they left them. Jughead is failing math. Principal Honey says that Betty Cooper is tutoring him because he will loose being captain of the football team if he doesn't get his grades up. He is really mad and anoyed that he has to spend time with her. What will happen? Will they get closer or will Jughead keep bothering Betty?
