The summer before going into one of the most important phases in her life, that being college, was just the absolute wrong time to fall in love for Atiyya. She had so much ahead of herself, so many options. I mean, Kaleb wasn't the only boy in the world. But they had known each other since birth almost and they had this connection that he and her both knew they weren't going to get from anywhere else.
