It's 3 am and 18 year-old Reagan is driving her dad's pickup truck to the Licking bridge. She has a gun in a Harvard bag beside her t and suicide notes shoved into the glove compartment.

Ruby wants to start again.

It's 3 a.m and a mysterious girl named Ruby, steps into the road. She's on her way to the train station, hoping to start again. But part of her knows she can never run from her past.

Diana is falling apart at the seams. After she graduates high school, her parents kick her off their insurance and, no longer able to afford her medication for her bipolar disorder, turns to street drugs as a relief. Nobody in her life is in a rush to get her out of it. Then she overdoses. She ends up in a hospital, because she's terrified if she doesn't, she'll go to jail. While she's there, Diana meets a number of women who have all been abandoned to the system like her, and people she would normally hate become close, if temporary, friends. With their help, recovery doesn't seem so far away, after all. She was driven by depression to commit suicide, but was saved by Erick Thompson a 24 year old successful career man, who is a big shot and runs his retired fathers company. Erick an adopted son of his big shot parents, who has lived his life trying to be the perfect son, knowing fully well they are not his parents. The two meet and bond and begin to feel emotions for each other, as Erick tries bringing Sapphire out of depression, he begins to feel love towards her and she does too. But she constantly denies the fact of falling in love, considering that she only feels Erick has pity for her, and looks down on her. Will the two of them be able to realise their love towards each other? And be able to fight away the depression, and every other obstacle that comes between them? She even decides to take her in. Irma is in it for a friend, but she doesn't know that her roommate is an assassin yearning to do many dirty things to her, things that Irma have never done, things that are normal for the assassin.
