Wesley and Keith Pierce are born in Tupelo, Mississippi on June 6, 1935 to Vincent and Grace Pierce. Wesley goes on to become a rock star while Keith rises from farmhand to artist. Wesley tours the nation and rises to a fame the world has never seen. Keith remains in Wesley’s shadow and longs to be seen and accepted for who he is instead of “Wesley’s brother”. He holds on to the hope that one day, he and Wesley will be seen as equals.

But will Keith's jealousy over his brother's talent and fame blind him and destory his relationship with his brother and family forever, or will Keith realize what is happening before it's too late.
