Her friends don't see her, her family doesn't believe the things the woman does, she can only turn to the one thing that hides in her shadow and only comes out to play at night. Vanessa Baradon is followed by a comfort provider at times but a nightmare inducer always. Though she can be kind, if she becomes angry she will do anything for attention and an apology. The woman has no name but is known as тень женщины (Shadow Woman). Vanessa's nickname for her is "Swa" for sway because at night when the wind is blowing in the window it looks like she is swaying.

Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable.
