Genevieve Denise Knowles was the daughter of Jax Teller and Tara Knowles. 
She was raised by Tara for four years and then put in the system. She bounced from foster home to foster home for ten years. When she was fourteen, she was taken in by Asher James and his wife, Leah. She thought she would be okay there, but she was wrong. She still couldn't get away from the shit in her past. Almost a year after they became her foster parents, she came in contact with her mother. From then on, they talked on the phone and through letters. She sent her mom school pictures and photos of her with her friends. Her mom told her about her brothers, Abel and Thomas, and her father, Jax Teller. Tara told her about the club and how much she wants to get the boys away from it all. Soon, two years has gone by. Gen has tons of photos of her little brothers and her parents. She was fixing to be senior in high school and she had date set to meet her mother and two baby brothers. After all this time, she understood why she had gone through the hell she did. She knew who she belonged with.




This is an alternate ending to the Sons of Anarchy TV show created by Kurt Sutter. It begins in season 6 episode 13. If you haven't seen or finished SOA and you want to, I recommend that you do that before reading this story.

How much different would Jax Teller's life have been if JT never died? If the loss of Thomas brought JT and Gemma closer together instead of tearing them apart? If Clay died way before he could corrupt SAMCRO? If SAMCRO successfully went legit under JT and Gemma's leadership? If he fell in love with Tig Trager's daughter? Follow along as Jax and Isabelle "Issa" Trager navigate family, love and the obstacles of a former girlfriend back in Charming to cause trouble. This is a very canon-divergent look at the Sons of Anarchy universe. It's a Jax/OC love story and is not Tara friendly. I've always had a lot of "what-if" questions roaming in my head about Sons of Anarchy and as a huge Hamlet fan, I like the idea of playing with circumstances and exploring different outcomes. I will not be following the show's timeline and some characters may seem a bit OOC but I am trying to stay faithful to their personalities. Just putting a different spin on them given the fact that their circumstances are way different from the show. The story does, however, start around the same time as season one. Jax has just turned 30 and Issa is 29. The point of view will alternate and except for the prologue, each chapter is named for the person who's point of view we're reading. I have the story fully plotted out so hopefully updates will be weekly!

Abel was adopted quickly by a wealthy family, making Jax question if he was really a fit guardian for his son. However, his feelings changed when the notorious gangster Jimmy O killed Abel's adoptive family and kidnapped Abel. While bargaining for the baby's life father Ashby offered up himself as a sacrifice to return Abel to Jax. But in true gangster fashion, Jimmy went back on his word and shipped Abel out of Ireland as his last attempt at hurting the sons. His plan worked and forced Samcro back to Charming where they would serve their time in Stockton for fourteen months. After their release, Jax vows to become a better man for his new life with Tara and welcome his new son Thomas. However, everything changes when Abel makes his reappearance with his new family, stunning everyone and forcing his old one to fight for him.
