Imagine being able to read minds. Would you enjoy your "power"? Sometimes you're dying to hear what people are thinking, but nine times out of ten you really couldnt fathom the idea. How about if you could run real fast? Do you think you'd feel better about yourself, suddenly you get muscle and your body slims out. If you could leave your body like a ghost, do you think it'd give you a sense of power? Being anywhere at anytime without being seen. What if you could slow down time? Could you live forever? Do you think having a 'power' would change you, make you a better person? Not me. Its not all fun and games when you come upon a 'power', I'm just saying from my own point of view and experiences. This is my reality.

But after a few years, Geoff starts suffering a mid-death crisis. What's the purpose of going through the motions as a skeleton if you can't really live? Then he gets word that his cat, Bernie, just died and he can collect him and bring him home! Geoff and Naomi hurry to get Bernie only to discover that, due to a clerical error, their cat has been lost. With the hunt for Bernie giving new purpose to Geoff's un-life, he and Naomi begin a quest to get back their cat.
