Shoji has never meet such a ghoul like her before. Her peculiarity and uniqueness draws her to him, and they instantly become friends.
Neko is the only person that can save Shoji from the surging darkness of the life he has made. She'll help him through his past and uncertain future.
Her tender words and sweet aura brings Shoji to realize his feelings for her. Except it seems Shoji isn't the only one Neko holds close to her. He learns of Neko's childhood friend, Juuzou, who seems a little too protective.
He later learns Juuzou has something in common with Shoji, but it isn't something he wants to share.
