Did You Say Mate?

I turned to see a group of three boys coming into the restaurant, but one in particular stood out to me. He stood around 6'4, and was dressed deliciously in a dark, navy blue suit with a Rolex watch adorning his right wrist. His has hair sat messily on his head, as if he just rolled out of bed. But there was no way he had because who rolls out of bed looking like they walked straight out of a magazine? His dark eyes darted around the restaurant with a small frown on his face, as if he was searching something. For someone.

I think I forgot to breathe, because one minute I'm ogling this perfect being, and the next someone's slapping my back as I greedily breathe in air. Everyone began fussing over me immediately, causing an unnecessary scene, asking if I was ok. A cup of water was shoved my way as my face burned with embarrassment. I took a sip of war, mentally face palming myself as the three boys turned their attention toward our table. I tried to slide down further in my seat to reduce any further humiliation, but it was too late.

HE now stood just barely a table away, instead of by the door when I first noticed him. His eyes held confusion, and awe briefly before it was replaced with an emotionless gaze.

One word left his mouth in a low whisper, with a possessiveness that made my insides stir.

"Mate."
