Noah Brown's chivalrous act in the grocery store reaps unexpected benefits !
This story came about from a crappy afternoon I spent at the grocery store. I HATE grocery shopping! I had to stand on my tippy-toes to get the yogurt from the top shelf, and it sparked my imagination. It is also an ALTERNATIVE story as to how Noah and Susanna met. This is a fun little story to write and it is not quite finished. The title might puzzle you, but if you hang in there with me, it WILL make sense. Hope you enjoy it! :) Thanks for reading it! :)

I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Why would a girl like her need that much money? It must have something to do with why she was in the holding cell. When she noticed I didn't answer her eyes shined with nervousness. Usually I'd like to see the uneasiness in people but, on her, I'm not so sure I like it. "Why do you need it?" I said, causing her eyes to widen as she quickly averted her eyes to anything else but me. "Well, I might have destroyed a very expensive painting and I kind of need to pay the people back-and before you say anything, it wasn't my fault, it was drunk me fault." I let out a sigh and ran my hand through my hair.
