"Why go on with life without you by my side?" I asked with tears flowing from my eyes down to my cheeks. He lifted one of his hands and traced my tear trails.

"Juliet.." He whispered, yet he wouldn't answer my question.

"Anyways, without further ado, are you in or are you out." "Are you joking?" "It's left to you babe." "You're kidding." I affirm, throwing my hand up in the air with my eyes wide open. "No baby strictly business." Dario stretches out his hands for a shake, nudging me to take it with his eyes. "Perfect," he whispers. "Now babe I think I deserve a kiss don't I?" I rolled my eyes at him, turning away. "Well fine then, have it your way." he said picking out his iPhone. I quickly aimed to grab his phone but he successfully avoided my hands, which left me no choice but to pull his head lower to my length and then place a small kiss on his lips. For the love of God. "Tsk tsk tsk, you really shouldn't be pecking me." he smirks. Yo, I mean it's a dream kissing him but I was expecting something maybe more romantic, you know, sweet not a fucking blackmailing deal. I placed another kiss on his lips. "That still wasn't a kiss babe." He whispers. For all the times he had called me babe, had my heart skipping beats. "Have you always been this sick or just fucked in the brain." I am playing with fire. I might as well just get burnt. "Never had experience?, well I'd be more than glad to teach you." He pulled me closer, staring at my lips with him subconsciously licking him, he almost looked dazed. Dario places his left hand on my waist and right hand at the side of my face before slowly connecting his lips to mine. The way he kissed, soft , the way he moved, slow. His lips felt so good against mine. I kissed him back gracefully, with him licking my bottom lips for entrance in which I gave him full access to devour my mouth with his. He pulled me closer to him as my hands found their way to his hair with me running my hands through his black soft hair, wishing the moments never stopped but it did, prior to the loud angry cloud above us. It felt so good, I was going to cry. Dario get what he wants when he wants. Read on.

I shifted uncomfortably in my seat as he stared across the table at me. I could seriously drown in his eyes. He was intoxicatingly attractive and he had to know it. That's why he was acting strange around me. For some reason, he looked at me as if I was the only one there with him. As if nobody else were here. And his voice... it pained me. It actually pained me with how utterly seductive and husky it always sounded. And the way he smelled all the time. I don't know why he smelled so strong, but I didn't mind. He smelled like evergreens and a hint of mint. It sounds like a bad combo, but it dizzied me with how lost I got in it. The thought of not being able to control myself, my thoughts and feelings and body when I'm around him, infuriated me. I was so good at holding myself together now, and he just unraveled me so easily, leaving me a mess. I wasn't the slightest bit afraid of him, and I had no idea why either. Just being in the same room, I felt like I didn't have to look over my shoulder. I didn't have to worry. I didn't even know who he was, and he still drew me in. "So, you were in California before? Why did you move?" Grace Hatfield asked, looking at him. She is our school's college and career advisor. She took me in and adopted me a couple years ago. She even gave me her last name. A saving grace. Why had she invited him here? Why did he come? He turned to her with a smile and a shrug. "Guess I just hadn't found what I was looking for yet." Something about the way he said it, sent a shiver down my spine. Why did I feel like there was so much more meaning behind his words than he was letting on? "Well, I hope you find what you're looking for." Grace said, and he turned to me with a devilish smirk and a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Something tells me that I will."

"What do you think it feels like to die, Clay?" I whispered. "Don't you dare, Juliette," he said, grabbing my arms. "Don't you dare think like that. Ever." I didn't say anything. "Why won't you tell anyone? Why won't you tell anyone, we can help you, why don't you understand that?" Silence. "You think no one cares, Juliette," Clay whispered. "But you forget that I'm here. I'm here for you." I kept my eyes down. "Juliette," Clay took my hands and scooted in front of me, bending down to try and catch my eyes. "I'm here. And I'm never, ever gonna leave you. We were supposed to meet at some point. And we were never made to separate. Where's that pretty smile? Where's that gorgeous, raspy voice?" he asked. "Huh?" I slowly looked at him. "My favorite eyes," he said. "Just stop." I whispered, sniffling. "Please." "No," He held my face and brought me to him. "I love you. And I'm never gonna stop." ****** Juliette Harris was depressed.
