According to the Elites, Gwyneth Lee is nothing but a lifeless AI. They programmed her to be an unsmiling, un-emotive automaton -- a sick example of how the Elites picture a perfect society.
But something is wrong. Gwyneth is a Defect. An experiment gone wrong. This apparent "lifeless" being -- she feels, thinks, hurts.
While they were aiming for an obedient massacre machine, instead they find a foul-mouthed, human-esque girl, more human than anyone in year 2072.
So they chuck her to the wasteland with the rest of the Defects, and through the pits of garbage she finds herself in a new, impassive, colorless world.
Gwyneth may be an AI, but she craves the danger and freedom that so few still believe in. Everything is so sickeningly perfect and so perfectly numb that no one remembers what it's like to feel... anything, really.
But when she finds Lawrence Addison, a guy who shamelessly smiles, who tosses grins and even laughter to those who scowl in response, she does the first thing that crosses her mind.
She goes after him.
But of course, no one likes a rogue robot and an irreverent orphan breaking every law in the book.
Especially when the two are laughing while doing it.
Season 4 of The Virus Within
Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again.
When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
