I moved to Berlin, Germany. I studied the language and could now speak it fluently. It all started when I got back from a party expecting to see my drunken mother, but found a note in her place. Now that she was missing, maybe even dead. I never knew my father. I had been running for years and I didn't even know what I was running from. Did it have anything to do with my father? Why was I being hunted? I had so many questions and so little answers. Was it because of my family history?

What had my family done? I was only a 20 year old girl from the states. I was lost, clueless. I was battling demons, although I never even knew what my demons were. My name is Evelyn Woods, I am completely lost. If only I knew where to start. But all I knew was the feeling in my gut telling me to run. I needed to find someone who could help me. I needed to trust someone, because right now I am alone and I have no one.

Is it possible for me to ever trust again? Will I ever see my mother again? What are these demons that haunt my life?
