"Hush..." Nicolai was close to Lyndall's ear now. His cold aura permeating the boy's soul with fear, incapacitating all his movements. The creature had fair skin, almost translucent, with hair that glistened over his shoulders in a shower of silver. He was as beautiful and murderous as a blizzard that was now suddenly still. The strength of his body was overbearing like a glacier at the summit of a mountain about to create an avalanche. His gelid sharp fangs flashed in his smirk, "You'll wake the neighbors." His red eyes glinted menacingly back at Lyndall's with unfettered enjoyment. Lyndall's heart dropped further into his stomach, coming to the realization that this creature was an empty tundra, and he was going to die by it...
