Jade Smith was a nerd, a completely ordinary teenage girl. There was nothing about her that would stick out, she was designed to blend in and that was what she did. She kept to herself, reading books and staying out of people's way

But like everything in Jade's life. nothing was ever simple especially when classmate Tyler starts showing an interest in her and she finds herself tangled in a web of lies, deceit and betrayal all the while she's trying to outrun the ghosts of her past that seem to pop up around every corner
