It's been three and a half years since I ended things with Jace. I haven't talk with him since but I hope he's doing ok. I learned to cope with it. I never moved on but I built up walls to protect myself from the pain.

Izzy and Simon are engaged! He proposed about a year ago and that is why we're flying to Hawaii. That is were the wedding is taking place.

This is the first time I will see Jace in those three and a half years. Everything will be fine...right?

His long, tan fingers lingering on some more than others. "What's changed?" His back tences as i ask and he turns to me attempting to straighten out his disheveled shirt and tie "Everythings changed Clary. I'm getting married in the morning." °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Time changes everything, even love. Clary Fray had convinced herself that, despite everything, she was over Jace Herondale. She no longer thought about his lazy smirk and care free attitude, his bright gold eyes that could put the sun to shame or even the way those eyes had looked at her once the way mankind gazed apon the night sky. Or so she thought until she recieved an invitation to his wedding and the years melted away.
