Salvaging Brokeheart

Cristella Brokeheart is what you might think an average girl may be. She's stuck in her head way too much, over thinks way too many things, and takes her fears way too seriously. Last year, she went slightly off the rails and is now trying to get herself together in her senior year of high school. Her past explains most of these things but nobody would know that because nobody knows that she exists but her small immediate family and close friends.

Except for Elliot Hale.

You see, Elliot doesn't have much of a back story, like most would believe of Cristella. He just starts going to the same school as the invisible girl and the two are forced to interact. At first, Cristella's sarcastic and irritable shield goes right up, but once she figures out they aren't that different....things change. He may not be invisible but he has a past that not everyone is aware of, she's invisible and has the story no one would believe.

What horrors do the two keep hidden?
Will the secret stories finally reach the surface?
Who will save Cristela from her dark spiral?
