DRAENOR - A dark,  brooding nimbus off the coast of Frostfire Ridge, conceals an enemy waiting for its opportunity to invade. It is an enemy so powerful, it could obliterate Draenor, Azeroth and all her affiliated realms. Word reaches Khadgar.  His help and that of the champions of Azeroth is eagerly sought.

EARTH - On a drunken night out in Edinburgh with fellow gamers, Drew talks about his ventures in Azeroth.  Following a bizarre incident, Drew meets up again with Bernie, the young woman from the night before who experiences strange dreams, and an inexplicable bond develops between the two.  Driven to return to Azeroth post haste, Drew uses the sargerite crystal to open the portal. Bernie and her two curious flatmates follow him through.

Back in Azeroth, the four part company. The three flatmates are captured by the horde and journey towards The Dark Portal for passage to Draenor. The Kirin Tor, meanwhile, race against time to discover a means to defeat the pending threat that lies behind the portal.   Illidan and Sarah have their own agenda. But as the battle begins, no-one is closer to a solution.  All they know is that Armageddon has arrived in the form of The Void.

I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. As Nora delved deeper into the game "The Ethereal Realm," her fingers danced across the keys and mouse, immersed in the virtual world that consumed her screen. The open world expanded, a vast and detailed landscape unfurling before her eyes. She navigated winding mountain paths, the cool air of the peaks enveloping her avatar. Forests, teeming with foliage and the echoing call of mythical creatures, stretched out before her as she wandered through their depths. Cities and villages dotted the landscape, teeming with residents-Dragons, Mernundas, and creatures beyond her imagination. One fateful night, after her children were fast asleep, she was suddenly interrupted by a message appearing on her screen. "Hero, I need your help." With that, the screen starts glitching, and before Nora can react, she is sucked into the game itself, finding herself in the very realm she was just playing in... (Self-insert because I can! Hehehe!
