All is not as it seems in the kingdom of Umbra, the prime regent is seen as a acquisitive Lord who's commanding the Prince. When young Van finds himself with a apprenticeship from Sir Owen he wonders what he's done to deserve this, but sir Owen knows all is not as it seems. 

Van is the shadow of the true Prince one of the 4 guardians the shadow, sword, shield, spear. He learns his role he as one of the four guardians of the true prince and is supposed to find him. But first he must train to gather the necessary strength to protect himself, and find the other guardians. 

Popular unrest has given them an opportunity to take back the throne but will it be enough to raise an army? Will they find everything they need to take it back? Will all be as it seems? Join Van on his adventure across Umbra's lands to gain allies and possibly the throne.
