SPEAK tells the short story of Kendra and Andrew's aftermath to the tragic experience that neither of them saw coming. A lot is about to change for these two, and hopefully the trust that they've so carefully built to is strong enough to withstand the trails of life and the "ugly" side of love. Let's see what a cozy weekend, in the middle of a snow storm, with emotions and hormones raging high...can do for them. It's intense, passionate, painful, real, and it'll more than likely have you drowning in your feelings. ***Note of Caution*** If you haven't read FREE then please do so if you wish to read this. Unless of course, you don't mind spoiling it for yourself by skipping over part one. Either way, this is the SPOILER ALERT! Also, book one was pretty mild in terms of explicit content. This book however, isn't so innocent. If profanity and sexual activity is uncomfortable for you, then please do not bother reading this.

Everyone she knew and cared about was murdered in a twisted idea of fun, she was the only survivor. Quickly dumped into a world of supernatural Aurora must find her place despite the fact a possessive werewolf seems to want to tell her what to do. Can she adjust or will she crumble under the pressure? Excerpt: The screams and cries for help faded while silent tears continued to stream down her face. Her hands were slapped over her mouth to muffle any noise that escaped her quivering lips. She wasn't sure how long she was in that pantry but couldn't come out until she was beyond certain that they had left. For a moment, she started to have hope that maybe they wouldn't be able to find her, but a voice spoke up, and fear flooded in once again. "You cleared out the upstairs, too, right?" "Yeah." Another voice responded. There was a slight pause, "Hmm. Then where is that heartbeat coming from, I wonder." His voice had a sickening amusement to it, and her heart rate uncontrollably spiked with the adrenaline pumped through her veins. Was he talking about her? The thought that he could hear her heartbeat was crazy. It just wasn't humanly possible. Footsteps grew closer to the kitchen. Somehow, they had found her. She said one last prayer and goodbye to her life as the pantry opened. "Boo." The man yelled, peering in at her. She was frozen. There was nothing more she could do. She was going to die. "Little Birdy," he stretched out his hand, "come out to play."
