Hazel Hudson sees the world in color. She is an introvert determined to go unnoticed by the people in her new school. She doesn't want anyone to know that she's different from everybody else, that she has a secret. Hazel has Asperger's Syndrome, a type of high functioning autism that makes it hard for her to read emotions, hard for her to talk to people. Hard for her to be social with people her age. She's the girl with two different colored eyes and a scar on her forehead. She's the girl who sees the world in a kaleidoscope of colors. She's the girl who is a mystery to everyone around her, including the school's star soccer player, Theo Beckett.
