It's the year 2006, and the Doctor wasn't prepared for Doomsday. Daleks attack, the Doctor and Rose enlist the aid of Torchwood, and the Void is opened. Tensions are at their highest - and in an instant Rose is separated from the Doctor forever.
But the Void isn't finished yet...
What if it's the Doctor who falls through into a parallel universe?
And what if that universe is ours?

...It's the year 2017, and Ash Forrester just wants to finish her second term of university. Finals are quickly approaching, she's doing her best to avoid a social life, and it's all she can do to get to class on time. Tensions are at their highest - and in an instant her world is changed forever.
Ash's childhood hero has been dropped into her life, and suddenly she's not so sure that the Doctor is worth the monsters. All of time is at risk, the universe is cracking open, and Gallifrey is on the rise...

Is saving the world even possible at this point?

This was fun to write, as I have been a fan of Doctor Who since I was nine years old during the Tom Baker era. I studied hard to try to capture each Doctor's personality as they speak and interact, although I do admit that having a cast of 28 causes several characters to get lost within the dialogue. I made this as canonically correct as possible, pulling each Doctor and his corresponding companion from episodes to make this possible, but if you catch me in an error... I claim AU! Ha ha. It is for all intents and purposes a Capaldi episode, within his first season, long before Face the Raven. This is a Doctor Who fanfic for superfans only, as the entire first section only describes each Doctor by his attire, so you have to guess which is which by their apparel and companions. If you aren't familiar with each and every Doctor, this story will get very confusing. That being said, I hope you enjoy!

That and the fact that she has some of the strangest dreams about the most insane things: Time ships and a planet surrounded by a glass dome...the death of two unnamed adults. Because of these dreams, Mary has knowledge of aliens races and history that she shouldn't have. Knowledge that ends up being true, as she learns when she begins to investigate strange goings on with none other than Sarah Jane Smith, which eventually leads her to the one person that might be able to figure out where she came from, why she has no memories, and why her dreams hold true other-worldly facts. Mary needs a Doctor...and luckily for her, she may have found just the man for the job.
