Most people think of werewolves when it comes to the full moon. But me? I think of Vampires. 
     My name is Shanti. There was once a time when I was simply a normal girl, at least as normal as a half human - half spirit girl can be, but that all changed after I met Kage, who took me from the world I never felt I was truly a part of, and into the one I had always known.  But that was over a hundred years ago, now.
     Not many people have the correct view of Vampires, we actually love the sun, despite that our eyes are sensitive to the light. We do drink blood, but we don't always kill to do so. Then of course, night is our most active time.
     Yet what we are and how we work can't exactly be explained in one sentence, nor can my story or why I am here. So click on this book if you want to find out. I'll be happy to bring you with me on my adventure.

Ruled by a council of three kings, with one from each fullblood race, peace endured for quite some time. In a last attempt to stop the war one hundred years later, the land was divided into three kingdoms, the vampires, humans and werewolves. In secret, however, it was decided that the human king would watch over them all to prevent another war from ever happening again. Since the human kingdom laid inbetween the other two, the humans invented technology to keep all the races at bay and trained the warriors of their army as skilled hunters. As time and generations went by, the kingdoms became more isolated and the common humans forgot that supernatural beings even existed. However, the war had never truly been resolved so the hatred that the vampires and werewolves had for each other endured. When a mysterious murder occurs, chaos breaks out within the kingdoms. A throne must be taken, blood must be shed, a choice must be made and all must be answered by a girl with purple eyes.
