The Pages Tell Me Lies

Oh hell no.

"Boy you betta get the fuck out of my face", I said pushing past him to our son's room.

I walked swiftly as I called out to Simba to get the bags we packed.

I could hear him following my foot steps down the hallway to Simba's blue bedroom door.

"Gi"

I could hear the hopelessness, the sadness and the regret in his words.

I stood facing the closed bedroom door as my mind raced. But I knew I had to make up my mind.

I turned to him. No tears, no sad eyes, no bullshit.

"The sad part is that you couldn't even tell me before twitter did".

I gave him a grave smile before I opened the doors of my son's room. This was it.
