Luke Crosby love hockey. He doesn't love the fact that everyone thinks that because his last name is Crosby that he must be related to Sidney Crosby, which he isn't. He also doesn't love the fact that he is now his seventh school in three years because of his Mom's job.

Brynn Washington might not know Luke before he joins the school but she knows his type. The hockey player who doesn't care who he hurts and worries only about himself. She isn't nice to him because she doesn't think that he deserves it.

There is more to Luke than Brynn gives him credit for but he is just trying to fit in with his new hockey teammates, especially with a captain that feels threaten by him and a Coach that doesn't really like him but he still finds time to try and prove her wrong.

Can Luke convince her that he is different or will she think she isn't worth it?

"I'd give it all up for you, Avery," Finn urges. His hands are gripping onto my cheeks and I don't know why I'm letting him get so close to me when I told myself I wouldn't let this happen. All I know is that I could cry at his touch. I miss him so much. "The job, the team, everything," he continues. I swallow the lump in my throat as my eyes dart between his. He seems so desperate and I want to sock myself in the jaw when I'm tempted to wipe the single tear that fell to his cheek. "Because I've seen what it's like to live without you. I know what it's like to see you with someone else, and nothing is worth that. Not even the NHL." The sequel to Ice.
